nonj began in Los Angeles, CA, not as a big plan, but as a simple idea. We wanted an online place for outdoor gear that felt honest and practical—products you’d actually use, not just admire on a screen. The store is independently owned and operated by Samvel Aramyan, built step by step with a focus on everyday outdoor life rather than extreme adventures only a few people ever take.
Our business model is straightforward: an online-only shop that cuts out unnecessary layers and focuses on a tight product range. We design, source, and select gear that fits real routines—morning hikes, long drives, weekend camping, city-to-trail days. nonj is made for people who enjoy being outside, even if they’re not calling themselves “outdoor experts.”
